Bonsai Floating Conference Ltd is gearing up for the “Happy New Year” celebration party for both Vietnamese and expatriates to ring out this year and ring in 2007 in the Saigon River on December 31, 2006.

The special feast will take place on the company's Bonsai Dragon Boat, where partygoers will enjoy a variety of delicacies and drinks as well as immerse themselves in dancing, singing and joy before the New Year's arrival during the river cruise.

The company said a mystic drum would welcome partygoers to a cocktail reception before the boat departed from Bach Dang Pier in downtown Ho Chi Minh City at 9:30pm for a scenic cruise until past midnight.

A Philippine band will perform to cheer up all the partygoers after a New Year buffet dinner featuring international dishes at the boat's cocktail lounge.

The party will also feature a dancing show with breathtaking costumes, a display of traditional handicrafts and face painting. Guests will also receive complimentary Champaign for a New Year toast before they join an open entertainment program at the end of the cruise.

The package party costs US$54 per person and includes soft drinks, beer and a bottle of wine for four guests each.
