Zendokoro Ichiyu is the name of the stylish Japanese restaurant located on the first floor of the Duxton Hotel Saigon. The actual dining area is quite small, yet it radiates a warm, cozy ambience. More than 200 dishes are served for your choice; with a difference: an Obanzai (food counter) including on-show dishes not part of the main menu -this is for quick selection, and especially featuring Chashyu, a kind of pork meat boiled with Lipton tea, sake, vinegar, Japanese soybeans and mirin, served with yellow mustard and vegetables. Throughout September, Zendokoro Ichiyu Restaurant also introduces Shabu Shabu, a naturally flavoured hot pot fused with US beef, for just $15++ per person. You can have a choice of two different quality US Beef cuts, plus a wide selection of dishes recommended by Executive Chef, Zendokoro Ichiyu.
