Blending French and Vietnamese architecture, art, culture and cuisine, L'Annam Restaurant is located at the charming Victoria Hoi An Beach Resort & Spa. The restaurant features typical high French doors, white walls and is furnished with charming Vietnamese traditional materials such as rattan, bamboo and handmade brocade. Entering the restaurant you will feel as relaxed as if you were entering a spa.

L’Annam features massive plate-glass windows, letting in the sun through out the day, and is decorated with Vietnamese artifacts including ancient wooden beds, Cham statues, water puppets, rice seeding and pictures of ao dai – clad Vietnamese girls.

The spacious restaurant is divided into two dining areas, both of which offer a peaceful atmosphere. If you are lucky you will be able to find a table with three views: of the sea, the resort’s exterior garden, and the interior garden. But no matter where you sit, whether on the terrace overlooking the ocean or at a table by the small garden, you are sure to feel very relaxed.

You could enjoy the dance of the sunlight on the white pebble and bamboo garden, and ordered some Hoi An specialties including Vietnamese pancake with pork, shrimp, bean sprouts, and herbs ($5), cao lau ($5) and hoanh thanh ($4.30). All were eye-catching and delicious, made with only the freshest ingredients.

If you are a fan of Italian food you shouldn’t miss L’Annam’s selection of pastas ($5.50 to $9.50) and pizzas ($6.50 to $7), while the restaurant also offers specialties such as roast rack of lamb ($19) and grilled ($20). The restaurant also offers a wide range of drinks, with soft drinks priced from $1.95 and cocktail from $4.

L’Annam Restaurant is not only famous for its romantic views and its excellent food and drink, but also for its original architecture and the window to traditional Vietnamese culture it opens for its guests.
